Creepy Jake Sketches

This started out as some attempts to bulk Jake up a little. The guy needs some muscles if he's gonna lug that heavy gut around all day (and drawing him as some sort of emaciated twig didn't make much sense anyway). That said, he still has that derpishly flexible spine because noodle dragons and stuff.

Then kinda turned into some character stuff. Like sometimes Jake looks more dragonish and inhuman. Generally it's when his form is being strained or when he's stressed. Like if he's physically exhausted he'll look more dragony, and oftentimes he'll look that way just before eating someone (thinking like a predator makes him look like a predator because I'm very clever like that :/).

He also has a small affinity for magic. Although it's pretty weak and mostly for show, such as summoning fire and making light spheres. The type of stuff you'd expect to be used as a bar trick. Granted, if Jake actually practiced he might be able to actually fight and do some useful things with his magic, but he's too lazy to try at anything that doesn't come instantly.

Also I think I finally figured out his hair in side-view lol

Well, that was some good ol' random tangenting. Tune in next time and I'll explain how dragons are actually psuedo-mammals in my head-canon
